Back in my first year of school, we were instructed to choose a short story that spoke to us and make art based on said story. The story that spoke to me the most was "The Sharpie Crows", or "Puntmopjes" in Dutch, by Haruki Murakami. Something about the menacing energy of the huge crows in this story caught my attention, and I wanted to translate that feeling into images. Capture the chaos of the meter tall birds.
